How do I earn awards at a Mount Trail Challenge from listed parks?

• Have a current membership with PMT
• Show at any of the PMT listed shows all season, min 5
• A Challenge listed as double points will count as 2 Challenges
• Each facility will have 1 challenge listed for double points
• Use assigned back Number at each show, this number will forever be your back number with that horse
• Each horse and rider combo has its own back number to be kept
• Only Top 5 Challenges will be counted for awards
• Awards given at annual banquet in January 

What 20 Classes are awarded with PMT 

• Youth Level 1 In Hand & Riding 
• Youth Level 2 In Hand & Riding 
• Youth Level 3 In Hand & Riding 
• Youth Level 4 In Hand & Riding
• Adult Level 1 In Hand & Riding 
• Adult Level 2 In Hand & Riding 
• Adult Level 3 In Hand & Riding 
• Adult Level 4 In Hand & Riding
• Open Level 1 In Hand & Riding 
• Open Level 2 In Hand & Riding 
• Open Level 3 In Hand & Riding 
• Open Level 4 In Hand & Riding
• Rookie In Hand & Riding

How Many Placings are Awarded? 

• 1st - 6th place is awarded in all 28 classes

Do I need to do anything at the show to turn in my points? 

• When you sign up at an event, make sure you note on the entry form you are a PMT member 
• Use your already assigned Back number by PMT at all shows
• Sign up for PMT the day of the show, make sure the facility assigns you a back number and note on your entry form as well

PMT Annual Overall Awards

How do I earn points for the overall awards?

• Have a current PMT membership 
• Use assigned Back number at all challenges; this is forever your number with that horse
• Show at as many PMT listed challenges as you are able
• Enter as many classes as you are able in your level
• Every point you earn in that Division will be tallied for award
• Show at a minimum of 5 Challenges
• A Challenge listed for double points counts as 2 Challenges
•  Each facility will have 1 challenge for double points
