About PMT

Our Mission

To provide incentives to horse owners of all levels and disciplines, horses of all breeds and to build partnerships/skills utilizing natural obstacles and trails for competition and also trail riding, while promoting a family – friendly atmosphere for the equine industry.

About PMT

We are a non-profit association working to bring horseman and trail parks together!

Premier Mount N Trail was established in 2020 to create family-friendly competitions, to provide a safe environment, and to develop equine skills and partnerships. All breeds of equine are welcome!

PMT currently has 4 beautiful parks, 2 in Ohio and 2 in Michigan

*For more information on a PMT park near you please visit our park pages.

Competition

Mountain Trail competition requires horse and rider/handler to navigate trail obstacles with confidence and skill. It also challenges horse and rider/handler to navigate trail obstacles with accuracy and precision. There are graded levels of difficulty to challenge competitors from rookie to seasoned competitor.

Trail Ride Hours

Accumulate ride hours by riding, showing, driving, lunging, or leading your equine. Any time spent working with or training a horse will count towards the hours. Stall cleaning, grooming, hauling, feeding, and general caring for your horse WILL NOT count towards trail hours. All trail hours accumulate for year-end awards.
